links in blogs and the library now open into a new window
send comment function added to blog posts.

when you're browsing someone's blog and have something to say about a post, click send comment at the right side of the post's date bar. the Send Message page will open, all filled in and ready for your comment.

thanks to Zaxy for the idea :)
added experimental rss feeds of our front page posts. the link to the feed is on your front page under your username, way over on the right side.
our own blogs now have page numbers and page-turning arrows at the bottom :)
your tags page layout has been improved -- with nice clean columns :)
when browsing through tags, there's now a link to get back to the entire list of tags
when turning through the pages of a blog, the banner is no longer shown on the second and later pages.

this is more convenient when visiting someone who has a long banner :)
hello :) just a quick update on a few significant changes:

- all tags in your blog now go to your reviews, instead of going to the library.

- a new link has been added to get to all your tags; it's under your blog's name.

- you can still get to a library category, by clicking one of your tags first and then clicking the "search library" link that appears.
page turners have been added to the bottom of blogs you visit.
eventually your own blog will have some too.

thanks to shell42970 and harmonyinsanfran for the encouragement :)
TIP

you can change the color of the text (the Date and Tags) in the bar above each post by adding a line like this to your Style:

.review div.bar a { color: green; }

change "green" to the color of your choice :)
commas are no longer displayed between tags in the bar above each post.

remember to use commas when entering your tags though :)
in the bar above each post, the tag links are now displayed as links
Style/CSS tweak:

each post's text div is created only if you entered something (text, html, image) in the post or review. otherwise the post doesn't get a text div.

this cleans up the blogs that had unneeded blank text divs :)
I'm excited to announce this experimental feature:
Clicking a tag in your blog pulls up its category in the Library :D
Your blog's "categories" area shows all the latest sites from your favorite categories of the Library.

To pick out your favorites, visit the Library's Main Categories page or Full Index to find categories you're interested in... go inside each category and click "add as favorite". The Recent Additions page may give you some good ideas too :)
SU has done more work on their RSS feeds, which are looking much better.

Thanks to edosan for the heads-up and joewalp for the progress report :)
Joe from SU reports some peculiar behavior in the SU feeds. This explains why the feeds are often missing these days. He's looking into the issue :)
Bug Fix: Posting a review was failing when Library topic was left blank. Should work fine now :)
Blogs can now be visited anonymously, using a new option in the Setup area.

All member visits to blogs are still recorded, with anonymous visits shown as anonymous member.

Edit: I see quite a few anonymous members passing through here! :D Remember to go to your Setup page and let blog authors see who you are, if you're comfortable with them knowing your username.
For new members, an SU RSS feed is no longer automatically enabled.

Also, your incoming RSS feed can be set to any feed you like, in the Setup area :)
Visitors list has been moved to blog front page. Use Setup to show who visits you.

Member visits to blogs are now recorded.

Visits from people who are not logged in are not recorded.
SU feeds have been fixed

EDIT: the SU feeds changed again... i'll wait a bit to let them settle before investigating a fix
"permalinks" have been added.

the date above each post in your blog is now a permanent link to that post. click one and see what happens :)

i may move the link itself to a better location later (somewhere other than the date). any ideas?
A few experimental RSS-Feed accounts have been created. They contain the latest news from Digg, BBC and Physorg.
The speed of posting, editing and the archives has been improved :) Let msiegel know if you run into any anomalies in tags or reviews.
